I read the item on the Riverside walk in last week's WSCT with a good deal of interest as my 9 year old grandson has just done the walk in three stages as a school project on rivers. We have over one hundred pictures covering his route and some of the "problems" are pretty clear - the worst of which is the amount of rubbish (e.g. shopping trolleys between Arunside and Hills Farm Lane) which has been dumped in the water at various points on the way. Signs are also missing in some place - again I suspect the work of vandals. The Riverside Walk is excellent, especially as it can be easily accessed from all parts of Horsham and covers much of Horsham's history.
